Photo of the Month November – Polar Bear Breath – Win a Fine Art Print!

The photograph of the month for November 2015 was taken in March this year in Svalbard in winter of a Polar Bear, back lit by the setting Arctic sun and standing guard over a recent seal kill. Its breath steaming in the winter sunlight this remarkable situation was the absolute highlight of this scouting trip to the Arctic in Winter.   2. I love the light in this picture. It makes it so surreal and magical. The bear looks like he is imploring the gods for something. It would be fabulous next to my other print of yours. I hope that we will see such fantastic light on the polar bears next summer! 😍

  4. I love the color of the light in this photograph- not what you expect from the Arctic! The orange tones are so different from the usual cool blues and grays. Lovely photograph.
