Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings 2020

I wanted to wish all of you who may have travelled and photographed with me either past, present or future, who follow my blog and photography or even just stumbled across my work somewhere, a very happy and safe Christmas and festive season. It has been a tumultuous year, and I wish you good health and happiness and all the very best for the festive season and New Year. Roll on 2021 and the Vaccine!

  1. Joshua, Merry Christmas to you and your children and family. Have a wonderful New Year. It will get better and it will eventually be a distant memory and the fun will continue. I do miss you very much and look forward to being with you again. Kevin has given the ok to Wrangle Island and it is a trip I always wanted to do and doing it with you would make it super special. So, let’s look forward to a safe, healthy and exciting 2021. Your friend, Dave

  2. Hello Josh!Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family as well.Recently started reading your posts more regularly, including your 2020/2021 review – have enjoyed them.  Also listened to your podcast on Latitude Photography, which was interesting. And watched your overview of the new Gura Gear bag.I have been in the market for a new bag (for many years I’ve used the Bob Krist bag that Michael Reichmann originally recommended & never found anything better for my purposes, but that bag is getting pretty old).  Though the bag you reviewed looking interesting – my purposes are different than yours.  You want it as a companion to your main bag – whereas I want a main bag.So… I wound up purchasing the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 22L+… it ain’t perfect, but it will do.  It holds my 2 Z7’s with 24-70S f/4 and 70-200F f/4 attached, a 14-30S f/4, a 200-500, filter hive and all the sundries I need.  A review of that bag on youtube showed shoulder straps that could be tucked in, while the one I received doesn’t allow for that.  Looks like they changed the design of that bag somewhat between the review and when I purchased – a bummer that makes it less streamlined for travel – but oh well! Also bought 25 of your cards and am looking forward to receiving them.Let’s hope Svalbard actually happens!  If so, I will look forward to seeing you again.Cheers!Jerry
