Zululand South Africa Ground Level Wildlife Masterclass Workshop 2025

Today I am pleased to open the bookings for my 2025 Zululand, South Africa, Ground-Level Wildlife Masterclass Workshop. The workshop will run from May 7th until May 16th, 2025, and includes nine nights / ten days in one of Africa’s most incredible game reserves. Importantly, this is a full camp takeover, meaning it will just be our group in the entire reserve – we will not be sharing with any other groups or people.

Offering luxury accommodation alongside an astonishing array of wildlife photographic opportunities from some of the world’s most advanced and superbly equipped photographic hides. This workshop uses state-of-the-art photographic hides to capture powerful and emotive photographs of African wildlife at eye level. However, this workshop is about so much more than just its world-class wildlife photography hides, and a good portion of one’s visit will also be spent exploring the area on traditional vehicle safaris in specially adapted 4×4’s where there will be an opportunity for ground-level walking with Cheetahs photography. An astounding diversity of mammal, reptile and bird species call the area home and spending time on vehicles perfectly compliments the hours sitting in wait at photo hides by actively seeking out the wild residents of the bush.

Each occupant on safari has a guaranteed side seat on the vehicle, and the passionate and expert rangers/photo guides are in radio communication with one another to share current information on animal movements whilst tracking down a magnificent repertoire of African wildlife. We will also have access to a new custom-modified vehicle, especially for ground-level photography. Under certain conditions, your ranger has permission to follow animals off-road and to get guests in the ideal position for unsurpassed wildlife encounters. There is a limit of 3 safari vehicles out on the entire reserve at any one time, with this ultra-low density making it one of Africa’s most exclusive safari destinations.
