Live-Books Features Antarctica Photograph as Cover Image

Live-Books (website provider for my business www.wildnaturephototravel.com) has just featured one of my Antarctica photographs amongst a series of lead images on its new website. This photograph was taken on my very first trip to Antarctica back in 2011 and remains one of my favourites from that expedition. The inclusion of the human element for scale is not something I do very often in my photography, but there are occasions when it really does work. I am looking forward to heading back to Antarctica in just a few weeks for my White Nature expedition.

Ghosts of the Arctic Wins at the Australian Video Producer Awards 2017

In some exciting news, good friend Abraham Joffe (director and cinematographer of Ghosts of the Arctic and Kingdom of the Ice Bear) just took out the Documentary Videographer of the Year and Corporate Video Producer of the Year category wins as well as the overall grand prize win of Australian Video Producer of the Year at the Australian Video Producer awards for our recent short film Ghosts of the Arctic. Ghosts of the Arctic was awarded a Gold with Distinction; the highest award possible. Congratulations Abe! I told you all those long hours and frostbite was worth it!

Australian Geographic Magazine has just featured nine of their favourite photographs from the recent 2017 AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards. The Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) has announced the 2017 winners of its prestigious annual photography awards. Both Australian and international photographers competed across 24 categories, including travel, landscape, animals, science and people. Here are our favourites of the stunning award-winning shots.
