We all know it has been going on since the end of the COVID pandemic. Airline fares are up more than 30%+ and still climbing. CEO and executive salaries and bonuses are at obscene levels. International and domestic airfare pricing is out of control, and it is time for the government to step in and regulate this out-of-control, profit-hungry (at any cost) monster.
The reality, of course, is this is very much a first-world problem. However, with airfares priced the way they currently stand, families can no longer afford to travel, while airline executives buy more enormous mansions than ever. I am not sure when this became ok – but it isn’t.
