An exhibition of the best photographs from the 2015 Global Arctic Photographer of the Year Awards are now on display in Salekhard in Russia. Salekhard is a town located on the Yamal Peninsula. It is the administrative center of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug region in Russia. It is also the closest town to the Polar circle, making it the ideal venue to host the Arctic Awards exhibition. The exhibition includes all five of my photographs that won medals in the 2015 Awards and won me the overall title of 2015 Global Arctic Photographer of the Year.
